M.D.C. / RESTARTS |
Mobocracy |
In continuing with their recent flurry of activity in the last five to six years, Millions of Dead Cops have paired up with London street punks the Restarts for this rousing 15-song split LP. With the questionable quality of some of MDC's more recent output (especially their acoustic split with John the Baker), Mobocracy is undoubtedly some of their finest work since fully reemerging with Magnus Domingus Corpus, an effort that flowed awkwardly at times and was uneven at best. Here, the songs are biting and terse, with more engaging music and a better vocal delivery by loquacious frontman Dave Dictor. The Restarts have been brewing below the surface in the States for awhile, more popular with the anarcho/crust crowd despite their raw street style and members from bands like Armed and Hammered, UK Subs and the Varukers. The rough production suits their style well, though it also facilitates a level of homogeny throughout the track list, aside from two songs that do stand out from the bunch. Fans of either band should know what they're getting into with Mobocracy. MDC has compiled some of their best songs in recent years on their half, and the Restarts' aggressive street punk strongly lets up through their eight-song contribution. Complete with a foldout lyrics poster and great artwork by Kieran Plunkett of the Restarts, Mobocracy is a nice addition to both bands' catalogues. |

M.V.D. |
War Species |
M.V.D. is a band from Berlin that formed in mid '80s
and became known for its brand of grinding crust-hardcore. The 14 tracks on
"war species" is everything you'd want in the perfect old-schoolish
crust album - relentlessly crunching, grind-edged riffs, a precision guided
jackhammer of a rhythm section, and pissed-off and in-your-face vocals
assault. Cover artwork is done by a childsoldier from Sudan.

MAJOR ACCIDENT |
Massacred Melodies |
Started in late 1977 in Darlington, UK, legendary punkers Major Accident were initially influenced by the Pistols and the Clash. It took until late 1982 for their first proper release to see the light of day: their debut album "Massacred Melodies" finally came out on Step Forward. The distinctive 'Clockwork Orange' image (they were the first punk band to adopt the look from Kubrick's famous movie, which was banned in the UK at the time and impossible-to-see anywhere) and their songwriting, by far more peculiar than the average UK82 punk band, allowed them to grow a sizeable following, and their classic sleeve artwork by Paul Dillon started appearing on the back of more than a few black leather jackets. |

MALEVOLENT CREATION |
Demo 1987 |
The ultra-rare Demo 1987 of US Death Metal legends
MALEVOLENT CREATION, for the very first time on vinyl. Regular edition on
black vinyl (only 350 pressed). This Demo shows quite an unknown side of
MALEVOLENT CREATION‘s sound: it is a testimony of their hybrid origins,
closer to a fastened Thrash approach coming from the ’80s way of classics
like SLAYER, SADUS and DARK ANGEL rather than the pure and crude death metal
the band was known for in their later years. This vinyl edition comes to
testify how the original MALEVOLENT CREATION sound was, and what modern
technology can do: Side A contains a definitive remix done by original
line-up guitarist Jim Nickles in his New York City studio, while side B
presents the demo in its original form, sound and fierce raw fury. 6 songs in
total. Includes a killer A2 poster and thick printed inner sleeve with
unreleased photos, flyers and liner notes!

MAKILADORAS |
Niemandsland |
MAKILADORAS from Groningen (Holland) existed from 1999 until their demise in 2007. They were known for their ultra intense brew of Slaytanic Metal guitars in a bowl with uncompromising Crustpunk and Evas recognizeable angry vocals. They created a monster of sheer and mighty punk-metal mayhem that always stood up for DIY Punk ethics and this way toured as far as even to Israel in 2004.The Band published a stunning 10” MLP and Split 7” with “Radio Bikini” until their first Full Lengh “In eigen Hand” in 2005 dealing mostly with Gentec issues along other current political topics. MAKILADORAS split up in 2007 playing a stunning final Show at the11th Trashfest in Hoogeveen (Holland) and recorded their last remaining 8 new Songs for a final 12” Release that was suposed to be released by PROFANE EXISTENCE in 2008. This final releases includes 8 post mortem tracks of a full throttle SLAYER guitar ridden Metal and Punk feast. The Artwork that
attents this releases was done once again by Mr. Marald who created yet another masterpiece of Sleeveart... especially the detail in the front cover are simply amazing.

MALIGNANCY
|
Inhuman Grotesqueries
|
Malignancy is a loud offering of controlled chaos.
The untrained ear may hear metallic cacophony but the fine-tuned metal ear
will recognize the manipulations of instruments carrying out this sick
songwriting that crafted this batch of aural antagonism. "Inhuman
Grotesqueries" is violent social commentary married to a bit of the
goregrind aesthetic. These are more than just lowbrow vomitings of
gutmunching lyrics. Nihilism abounds and there's more than just a little
misanthropy on tap. Naturally loud, fast instrumental contributions shred the
eardrums while grinding vocals punch you in the stomach. Fans of classic
grindcore can indulge their darkest fantasies.

MASSGRAV |
Extra Nitad |
Fasten your seat belts!! Sweden's own MASSGRAV are back on the map in order to annihilate your stereo. The Extra Nitad vinyl contains the tracks from both CD's which released years ago on Sound Pollution (USA) minus the EP tracks on these CD's. All together 36 tracks of rapid-fire, forceful, abrasive as hell Scandicore in the midst of raw, throaty vocal attacks (including a cover version from ATOMVINTER and LIMP WRIST). MASSGRAV plays something not too far from the modern Swedish hardcore, they do a more than adequate job at it. They are faster than VICTIMS and SKITSYSTEM, and their drumming is more "relentless" - altogether, they wind up kinda sounding like KRIGSHOT. With two equally effective vocalists, this is a pretty rippin' listen from start to finish. The drumming is a little monotonous, but the overall feel of this album leans towards the raw and fast. The vinyl re issue housed in a high quality 320gr gatefold sleeve! |

tracks than earlier and prove that they had no problem handling the transition
from two to one singer. SHADES OF GREY make their vinyl debut, 5 heavy

perfectly matched, both musically and ideologically. Both bands have excellent
recording production with an absolutely huge sound. Prepare to be blown

MERCILESS |
S/T |
In the summer of 1989 Sweden's MERCILESS recorded
their first album "The Awakening". Before that the band had been
doing some demos, the first one "Behind The Black Door" came out in
87. After that demo Kåle left the band and the new singer was Rogga. After
the first record was out, the band played a lot of shows with bands like
Entombed, Dismenber, Count Raven, and also the Brazilian band Sepultura on
their "Beneath The Remains" tour. Merciless' second record
"The Treasures Within" was recorded in '91 but was not relesed
until the year after. Then the drummer was tired of waiting for the record to
be released, so in '92 a new drummer, Peter Stjärnvind (Unanimated/Entombed)
replaced Stefan Carlsson. In the begining of '93 the band did a tour in
Scandinavia together with Entombed. The same year they recorded their third
album, "Unbound" with producer Dan Swanö at his Unisound Studios.
Tired of the lack of support from the record company, Merciless lost the
inspiration to go on. In the start of '94 the band did a show before they
decided to take a long break. However, in '95 they preformed on the Slayer
tribute record "Slaytanic Slaughter" with the song
"Crionics". In '99 the first album was released on Osmose
productions then Merciless were offered to do a lot of shows and started to
rehearse again. After some more successful shows Merciless decided to start
working on a new album. In 2002 they finally entered Dog Pound Studios in Stockholm
Sweden. The band has 10 tracks of fast and aggressive thrash/death metal on
the new album, there are some mid paced moshing passages in some of the songs
but mostly they stick to hard and fast deaththrash with a truely 80s
fashioned production. Recommended if you like Sadus, Pestilence, Death and
early Atheist.

MESSIAH |
Choir Of Horrors |
Deluxe re-issue, limited to 300 copies in black
vinyl housed in an elegant high glossy laminated gatefold cover! Includes 3
bonus tracks taken from "Demons of horror" preproduction tape
(1991)!! A year after unleashing "Psychomorphia" Messiah was back
with thier peak album, "Choir of Horrors". Thankfully this sounds
much the same as the great predecessor, although the vocals are mixed a bit
louder, and the production has an inch more clarity. This is a different
Messiah with two new members and two original members remaining. The result
is a tighter performance with the band's ideas better focused and organized.
Choir of Horrors certainly high quality Death/Thrash riffing delivers from
start to finish, although I admit the title track 'makes' this album in a
sense and is a clear stand-out. Overall, you'll find "Choir of
Horrors" as a nearly perfect death/thrash album. Maintaining a healthy
thrash influence, while still taking a lot from the death metal scene at the
time. Just the right guitar tone, clean/audible production, and -above all- a
well arranged onslaught of guitar riffs. If you need a comparison... Think
something along the lines of the first three Massacra albums, Thanatos
(Hol)'s 'Realm Of Ecstacy' album, or pre-'Sublime Dementia' Loudblast!

Rotten Perish |
Deluxe reissue of this Swiss death/thrash gem,
housed in a high glossy laminated gatefold jacket. If you tend to associate
the Swiss metal scene of the 80s and early 90s with CELTIC FROST and CORONER,
they were not the only bands making headway into the international scene.
Death/thrashers Messiah were at it for years, forming in 1984 and producing a
series of albums and short releases that bridged the band from a thrashing
core to a more death-laced impact. "Rotten perish" is perhaps the
band's most Death Metal oriented offering, sometimes in the vein of GODS like
Death, Deicide, and Oppressor with a bonecrushing overdose of death/thrash
riffing. All things considered, this album is superb. If you already dig
early 90s death metal, or throwback DM bands like Pentacle or Armoured Angel,

MISERY |
From The Seeds That We Have Sown |
This latest release finds Misery looking not only backwards but forwards as they celebrate 25 years together without a lineup change nor a break. The two lead off tracks show that Misery will always be progressing and growing, The Beginning featuring female vocals and acoustic guitar amidst the massive crushing heaviness, where Armageddon shows that no one has perfected apocalyptic crust/stenchcore like Misery has. The middle of this release finds them reaching back to the first demo, re-recordings of the bleak New Year’s and the classic Midnight. The latter features the return of Al Long who left Misery to join Nausea shortly after the demo. The final two songs pay homage to their roots in the van by covering Sacrilege’s Lifeline and Chrome’s epic 3rd From the Sun, once again featuring Al Long, both adding their own ingredients that began to shape Misery in 1988. Any band would be lucky to celebrate 25 years with a release this strong.

PROGRESSIVE-HARDCORE. Doom, metal and crust from
former ICOS members, a band known for its crushing impassioned resonance. In
the years that followed, they took the spirit of their former band and worked
at creating a larger, more ominous and ultimately more considered sound. This
band would become MONACHUS. Capturing an organic timbre that invokes images
of these swedes toiling over beloved instruments, their debut album "out

sense of timeless peace, surging waves of sung and groaled voices and raucous
walls of guitars. Comes as 180gr vinyl, with a poster and lyricsheet.

MONACHUS |
Below |
“The bearded men of Monachus, an export of Sweden, are probably what outsiders think every metal musician looks like. And while they might not be completely right, they aren’t completely wrong either. But this three piece from Gothenburg are more than meets the eye; no, they don’t transform from a robot into a plane or anything like that. They are far from one dimensional, though, in a much different way. For a band that relies heavily on the blaring distortion and crushing riffs of sludge, they manage to have a keen grasp on the sweetened melodies of some of the best post-rock has to offer. While that, in itself, may not be something new or all that exciting in 2013, it can lead to fantastic results when done right. On their sophomore album, Monachus stay the course, and find themselves in select company. On “Below,” they choose quality over quantity, and deliver four tracks of beauty meets beast, black and white, light and dark contrast that will certainly earn them the respect and attention of fans, new and old alike.

MONARCH / GREY DATURAS |
Split |
Two respected underground heavyweights pair up on
"Dawn Of The Catalyst". Australia's Grey Daturas have built a solid
following over the last few years through constant touring worldwide with
artists like Neurosis, Wolf Eyes and Yellow Swans (having also released
splits with the latter two). Their combination of sonic style guitar-improv
freakouts with more down-tuned doomed ambiance and all out noise has
attracted fans from all dank corners of underground music. France's
female-fronted Monarch is that country's entry into the slo-mo nihilistic
utterly oppressive doom genre where they've distinguished themselves from
their peers in both sound and aesthetics. On "Dawn Of The Catalyst"
each band contributes one extended track (over 16 minutes long each!), both
veering to the more experimental, droning, lurching side of their collective
persona's. A split to be felt more than simply heard, it requires full volume
and full bass frequencies for maximum effect. |

MUKNAL |
S/T |
12" Vinyl featuring their 2012 demo previously
released on cassette by Crepusculo Negro. All copies are on black vinyl.
Dense, static choked Occult Black/Death but unlike many contemporary releases
spawned from this vile pit of the underground, MUKNAL hits all the major
stylistic high-points, then exceeds them with the perfect combination of
atmosphere, aggression and compositional complexity. As though it were some
sort of nefarious artifact, cursed by the Ancient Old Ones with a specter of
Death, MUKNAL creates an air of unease and showcases a conceptual strength
that so few bands can ever achieve. This is the true sense of dread and
hopelessness, submit yourself to this atmospheric holocaust!

MUNDO MUERTO |
Entre El Kaos |
The debut lp by California's mighty MUNDO MUERTO! Retaining the melody of the earlier 7" and 12" eps but with a harder, faster edge this lp is by far MM's best material to date. 11 tracks of pure hardcore punk greatness. From the build up on the first track to the last note this smokes all the way through!!!! The Spanish vocals only add to the amazingness of this lp and all the "whoa" parts
will have you singing along even if you dont speak the language. This is some absolutely raging punk in the Spanish tradition, equally influenced by more melodic bands like Eskorbuto and RIP and the more raw bands. What you get is basic, four-the-floor hardcore with catchy as fuck, whoa-soaked vocals over the top of it. This thing is jam-packed to the hilt with hooks... fans of Vaaska and Peligro Social will dig HARD. Catch the Histeria!!! |

MURDERESS |
The Last Thing You Will Ever See... |
Aborted Society is proud to present the debut LP from Portland’s MURDERESS. Dark, brooding metallic d-beat crust punk with spine-tingling screaming vocals, this is an up and coming female-fronted group that falls somewhere in between the 80′s metallic punk style of groups like SACRILEGE (UK) and melody-driven crust akin to ZERO HOUR. This release comes with a poster/lyric insert, black paper inner sleeves, a nice matte-finish jacket, and a free download card of the record for MP3 players. |

MUTOID MAN |
Helium Head | Two of the creative minds behind Mutoid Man are Stephen Brodsky (CAVE IN) and Ben Koller (CONVERGE). Having done numerous tours together during their lengthy tenures in both bands and having forged a connection spanning over a decade, it stood to reason that, when the two individually relocated to their current home of Brooklyn, NY, eventual collaboration could emerge. In fact, “collaboration” might be a bit of an understatement here, as it sometimes implies something almost whimsical or done as a favor from one party to another. If Helium Head is any indication, MUTOID MAN is far more than just a couple of established musicians doing some temporal weekend jamming. From the opening notes of album starter “Gnarcissist,” it’s hair-raisingly clear that Brodsky and Koller have fully-immersed themselves in yet another true gem and have served notice to fans and peers that the originators of a very specific brand of heavy music oft imitated, yet never quite mastered elsewhere, still hold firm dominion over the sonic landscape they carved out themselves many moons ago. For anyone thinking they have their “Best of 2013? lists well-sorted and about ready to go, Helium Head sneaks in under the gun with a Black Friday release and shakes everything up. Brodsky and Koller have done it… AGAIN! | Magic Bullet | 12 |

Brutal yet intricate Scandinavian meets Japanese styled hardcore that's based in the UK, with members from Brazil and Italy. Their sound can be broken down into a large dose of DEATHSIDE and ANTI CIMEX with a bit of MOTORHEAD influences, which creates undeniably unique lead filled devastation!! Right Is Might |
Havoc Records presents a deluxe re issue of this
long lost material from 1980's Dutch hardcore band Neuroot. Many people know
this band from their killer 7" and appearance on the PEACE comp.
Recorded 1985 at Emma in Amsterdam, this studio session was meant to be the
Neuroot side of the split LP with Fratricide on Pusmort. Pushead pressed 25
test pressings of this Lp but never put it into production, making it one of
the rarest hardcore records of the 1980s. This is re pressed as a 45 rpm
12", gatefold sleeve and sweet 80's style layout (no half assed
pixelated cover art here) Neuroots demos were re issues by Coaltion a few
years ago as well. |

Spirit Filled Revolution |
New,
3rd full length album of this Political Vegan Straight Edge band from
Portugal. Their music is based on great sounding melodic old style hardcore
with lots of varietys with lots of different elements and influences to
make it interesting and unpredicted. Their message is strongly focused
on political and social issues, from veganism and animal liberation to
social struggles, political prisoners and worldwide cultures of resistance.
For New Winds, Hardcore is definitely more than music and this release
proved that: comes with a 170-page book with all the lyrics of the band,
explanations, writings of political prisoners, articles, poems, contributions
about politics, injustice, culture of resistance, animal liberation and
other important issues. |

NEWTOWN NEUROTICS |
Beggars Can Be Choosers |
The 1983 full-length, Beggars Can Be Choosers, was The Newtown Neurotics' blistering, blazing statement of intent. It was also perhaps the most out-of-step and utterly bizarre punk record England produced that year–simply for being the most ordinary one. Stringy, angular, cynical, and warily sensitive, Beggars is simply one of the best unsung British punk albums of all time. And The Neurotics' earnest self-righteousness is so endearing, so goddamn goofy; while the world of music–punk included–whizzed by them in the early '80s, the band stood their ground and played punk rock the way they imagined it ought to be. |

NORTHLESS |
Clandestine Abuse |
With "Clandestine Abuse" the band's
intensity is captured on record, at long last. Since adding two additional
members to the lineup (the band started as guitar/drum duo) Northless has
expanded on their original style of atmospheric sludgy metal and gone beyond
the barrier that holds lesser bands back. This progression enabled Northless
to break through into new territory and write truly exceptional songs, more
focused, more dense. "Clandestine Abuse" might be one of the most
misanthropic, angst-filled albums I've ever heard, but it never fails to
instill a feeling of hope in the listener. A hope that a band can draw upon
familiar influences and personal experiences, draw on them and combine them
to create something that breaks the mold of slow & heavy music.

Split |
Northless lends two tracks to side A. This is Northless’ first recording since the Clandestine Abuse DLP/CD of 2011 and it shows growth and depth as well as the well forged rage and inherent sadness they’ve become known for musically. Light Bearer lends one to side B. ‘Celestium Apocrypha: Book of watchers’ this is the continuation of the 2nd narrative following the “Beyond The Infinite – The Assembly of God” Ep released in 2011. If 2012 is to be the year of splits, then this is the split of all. |

Good things come to those who wait! After almost six years of silence November 13th are finally back with a new full-length album! And it’s been really worth the waiting! On “Stadt in Flammen” November 13th very convincingly continue the progress that was observable on their past releases – this new piece again sounds a lot more playful, more progressive, more punk, and a whole lot more metal! While their last full-length “2008? from that exact same year was recorded and produced in a studio, “Stadt in Flammen” is a complete DIY-production again, just like all their other previous releases. All in all this record is 100% November 13th – melodic and playful, but still powerful and angry! |

NUNS, The |
S/T |
Originally released by Posh Boy and BOMP! in 1980, freshly repressed by Radiation Recs. In 2014! The Nuns debut LP is one of the classic pieces of San Francisco punk rock history. Formed in 1976 and fronted by the late, great Jennifer Miro on vocals and keyboards, and featuring songwriting contributions from alt-country legend Alejandro Escovedo (brother to Pete and Coke, and uncle to Sheila E.) - who left before the recording of the album. The Nuns bridges the gap between punk rock, new wave and goth rock.

NUNS, The |
Rumania |
Another awesome official reissue by Radiation records. In 1986, after several years of inactivity, Miro, Olener, and Raphael reformed The Nuns. The Nuns during this period tilted more towards Miro's new wave-influenced rock sound as Olener's previous writing partner had departed. In 1986, they released their second album Rumania, though its release on the soon-bankrupted PVC Records, an imprint of Jem Records, meant that the album received very little exposure.

ORIGIN OF M |
Struggle |
ORIGIN OF M started in the year 2005 in Hiroshima fronted by jap hardcore veteran Mr. Guy (bass in the legendary GUDON, owner of Bloodsucker Records). Struggle is their second album (recorded in 2010), originally a japanese CD release only - now for the first time made available on vinyl by Insane Society. These gentlemen play with similar intensity and energy as ie. their well-known mates from Tokio - FORWARD, so you can expect big guitar riffs, guttural vocals and really heavy-hitting rhythm section - but sometimes they slow down the things and can even get into rock parts and these sound incredibly catchy and fresh in their hands! You know there is no chance that the lyrics of these guys won't be affected by the fact that they come from Hiroshima - a town on which the A-bomb was dropped some 67 years ago - the lyrics are often concerned with nuclear disarmament and peaceful coexistence. Experiences from 20 years of playing hardcore in various bands (not only GUDON but also ASPHALT, NEVER AGAIN, WARHEAD JUNK,...) are very present in themusic of ORIGIN OF M and Struggle LP is definitely worth a listen even if you don't count yourself among fans of japanese hardcore YET |

OUTRAGE |
1985 Demo(n)s |
It's unbelievable how a band like Outrage from Germany hadn't been given the credit they truly deserve. Formed in 1983, together with SLAUGHTER they have been among the very first bands showing such a strong HELLHAMMER/CELTIC FROST influence combined with a raw thrash/black attack in the vein of early SODOM. This Lp features their two 1985 demos in their entirety. They have broken up in 1987 after two more demos and have remained buried by time and dust till their reformation in 2004. Along with POISON this is a teutonic gem that must be present in your collection. Restored and mastered for vinyl at Toxic Basement Studio. 400 copies on black vinyl, 100 copies on grey vinyl + handnumbered sticker. All copies coming with A2 poster, jacket on 350 grams cardboard, insert, outer plastic bag.

Singing Shouting Crying |
Blasting, energetic rocking hardcore from Tokyo, The debut LP by Tokyo, Japan's PAINTBOX is a stunning blend of traditional "burning spirits" Japanese hardcore mixed with melodic pop and driving hard rock influences, fueled by raging guitar leads, a rampaging rhythm section and husky, tough sung vocals. Original Issued on the HG FACT label, it is issued for the first time in the U.S. on Vinyl. The Prank Records version features different artwork, a translated lyric sheet, a different A/B side breakdown and improved mastering from a now deleted vinyl pressing on Canada's Ugly Pop records. Guitarist Chelsea was instrumental to the creation of "Burning Spirits" sound as a member of 1980's legends DEATHSIDE, but forged new ground with Paintbox with it's infectious, upbeat energy. |

Split |
Pure crustcore power. Pure fucking hate. A split between Passiv dödshjälp (Gävle) and Achilles (Stockholm). On this piece of plastic you can actually hear Passiv dödshjälp turning to the east for help; the first track Parallella världar, could easily have been made by Distress from Russia. Achilles were formerly known as Achilles last stand and formerly from the small town of Oskarshamn, down south Sweden. The music can be described as the cousin to End of all. Excellent metal/crust. No fucking bullshit! |

PEACE CORPSE |
Terror Of Quincy |
The "Terror of Quincy "LP comes from the deepest, darkest corners of the Toxic Shock Records vaults. This LP pairs the best tracks from Peace Corpse 1985 masterpiece, "Terror of History" (which features Eric Wood of Man Is The Bastard) and the complete "Quincy" 7" EP from 1983. Side one has been reissued on CD by Dr Strange, but many of these tracks have been out-of-print on vinyl for decades. Terror of Quincy features original artwork by Brian "Pushead" Schroeder, with a caricature of Jack Klugman who played the coroner in “Quincy M.E.”, a network TV show, which along with "C.H.I.P.S." represented the mainstream media's reaction to the spread of punk to suburbia in the '80's. Peace Corpse used sarcasm to address this, similar to Dead Kennedys or Flipper, two of their many influences. |

S/T |
This is a new band from members of HORROR, LOS
DOLARES, ETACARINAE, PRIMATES, but brings a fresh sound not heard from any of
their previous bands. The music is a heavy dose of BLACK SABBATH mixed with
MOTORHEAD, and ANNIHILATION TIME comes to mind as well, but the real treat is
that they keep it hardcore with the drive that many heavier bands can't keep
up. I really liked these guys live and this record is testament to their
skills. I first heard this 5% faster than the LP was recorded at, and I must
say I really liked that speed too. |

PESD |
Politikarepoizonekurvae |
PESD
is a new studio project formed by Smoku and Amoniak. Smoku was guitar
player of Post Regiment and Falarek Band, who was the one responsible
for their sound. Amoniak was a singer of legendary warsaw band Tregedia
(their songs were re-recorded by Post Regiment on their 3rd full length
"Tragedia wg Post Regiment). This record consists of 14 songs with heavy influence from old Polish punk sound from the 80's. You can surely hear Smoku in the guitar parts and harmonies, and harsh and fast Amoniak's songwritting. There is a definite Post Regiment touch in it, but also parts remining Deuter, TZN Xenna, Dezerter and even first Siekiera recordings - maybe because of the harsh and powerful Amoniak's vocal. Production is really good and complex, you can hear a lot of studio effort put in it, while it is not overprodused - it has the punk harshness... American version on Prank!! |

PROPHECY OF DOOM |
Total Mind War |
Proud to have Prophecy of Doom back on Agipunk, one of the bands that truly broke the barriers between the hardcore scene, death metal and grindcore from the late 80's on. One of the heaviest and most destructive band coming from UK in these years, always loyal to their punk attitude and with a strong concern on lyrics. After a demo in 1988, they have released "Calculated mind rape" 7" in 1989, then in 1990 the output on Peaceville the band is mostly known for, "Acknowledge the confusion master" Lp (also released as a split Cd with Axegrinder), In the same year the released a live 7" ("Until the again") and the "Peel sessions" 12". After the "Matrix" Cd in 1992 (on Metalcore), their last output has been the 3-song demo "Ego-deathgrind" in 1996. Agipunk has released a now sold-out 7" in 2007 featuring 2 songs off that demo. This Lp compiles an unreleased radio session from 1991 on one side, plus the complete "Ego death grind" demo 1996 on the other side, Now you have the chance to complete your POD discography with some of their best stuff ever. New fullength from Protestera which gives us a new approach to society and it´s boundaries. The thoughtful lyrix and thoughts are printed in a 36-pages booklet with lot´s of graphics. The title really says it all; 01.05.1886. The date itself is when the Haymarker massacre took place where five anarchists where sentenced to death for throwing a bomb into a crowd of people. All of them where innocent. Although this was a long time ago, 140 years to be exact, the situation is basicly the same today. If you have an opinion about society that´s not really applied in today´s society, you still will be sentenced for your thoughts. |

RAPID LOSS |
S/T |
I reckon this is pretty ace. Seven of the tracks are fast, brutal, upper-tier hardcore that go beyond most traditional standards of punishment. Comparisons might include Manpig, Stations, BGK or a bulked-up and incredulous SSD, with everything barked, grinding and heavy enough around the shoulders that you'd definitely think twice about spilling their pint and then laughing in their face about the silly thing you just did. The singer barely seems to spit the words out fast enough, and oftentimes the band follows suit as though they're all but tripping over themselves to get all that excess rage out. After this initial flurry of activity, the whole of side b comprises antagonistic pounder 'Death Persuades'. This goes on. And it goes on. And it goes on. But in the best possible way: a horrible, gluey, Flipper-like lurch that lasts for 14 minutes and sounds like the band are trying to headbutt their way through a brick wall just so they can get to you and kick you in your stupid bloody face. It's a right treat, and makes it kinda tough to decide just which side you might like more. |

Birth |
Regular black vinyl pressing ltd to 400 copies. Top
quality packaging with exclusive artwork by Vince Packard ("Screams from
the gutter" / "After you brain"), reverse board thick gatefold
cover, A2 poster (two sided) with an extensive selection of gig flyers from
the band's early tours, plus photos, liner notes etc.. 31 songs of pure
energetic Italian Hardcore fury! Side A: official re-issue of the RP's debut
Demotape from 1983 remastered from the 1st generation sources/tapes provided
by the band, for the very first time on vinyl Side B: Live at "Jockey
Club" (Newport / KY / USA, Sept. 4th 1984) 15 songs (many of which
completely unreleased and for the first time ever on vinyl) re-equalized and
remastered from a 2 channel master found by an old roadie of the band. Highly
influential Italian Hardcore at its top, fast blistering drums, inhuman 6
string execution and rabid vocals plus the screaming mad assault of
"Fuck authority", "Raw power" and "Don't let me see
it" that gave a vital input to tons of speed/HC maniacs that came in the
years to follow. The first Italian HC band that toured the USA and brought
Italian Hardcore on the international maps - this records proves the energy
and the compromised "raw power" they had on stage back then!

Outlaw |
The fourth full-length release from one of Germany's oldest and most well-known punk rock bands. Once again Rawside deliver the goods, playing 80's style punk rock with just enough of a metal edge to keep it interesting and fresh. Most of the songs are in English and the lyrics cover a wide range of political topics as well as keeping the spirit of punk rock alive. If you've never heard Rawside before, then it's about fuckin' time for your education to begin!! As usual for a Skuld Releases record, it comes in a beautiful package that includes full-color gatefold sleeve and printed inner sleeve with lyrics. |

Metal
Minds |
If
you listen to Razor Fist, it is clear from the beginning that influences
are much broader than only Thrash Metal. Singer TK agrees: "Our influences
include classic 80's thrash/ speed Metal, N.W.O.B.H.M., and definitely
classic 80's hardcore punk and Oi! We also try to capture some of the
melodic power of Euro-Metal groups like Accept. Basically, Razor Fist
is a cauldron which contains bits and pieces of all of the countless bands
we've listened to over the past 20 years. We are hippie Metalheads who
grew up playing in hardcore punk and thrash bands |

REACTORY |
Killed By Thrash |
Absolutely great thrash metal from Berlin. The kids have their root into the political punk scene and their statement “The idea was to kill posers, pseudo metal idiots, and to create an own sound. And for sure to go on many tours, drink a lot of beer, and present musical aggression. Loud and fast!” says it all. Great recording, great songs and great artwork. What else should I say?? Buy or die!

RIPCORD |
Discography Part 3 |
This is the last part of their discography series.
The songs featured on this LP have been taken from almost opposite ends of
RIPCORD's recorded works from '86 to '88. The LP starts off with their
strongest stuff ever "the peel session". Whirlwind hardcore with
excellent timing and gruff vocals. Then follows a demo that documents the
"defiance of power" LP but the songs are more raw. Side-b features
a demo that was recorded 3 month's before their famous flexi 7".
Excellent stuff to complete their history! As a bonus you'll get 3 previously
unreleased songs!

RITUALS |
S/T |
Rituals from Phoenix, AZ play a blend of slow, heavy, and pummeling riffs with a mixture of sonically versed melancholy melodies. This music comes from the stomach. There are 5 tracks on this release. As you listen, set aside expectation. Put away your thoughts about what you think the work should or does sound like. It is not about the definitive. It is the execution. The temporal and the fleeting. You need to understand: This is the moment, captured. Emotion plus volume. This record is more concerned with texture, using a sense of sparse minimalism and repetition to achieve gradual, swelling impact. Tracks frequently stretch out to 7 min., taking their time to unfold and develop into epic soundscapes. The distorted guitars are augmented thundering drums as the harsh vocals paint images of nomadic cultures and cracked earth under a burning sky. In other words, can be a classic. Fans of brilliant, emotive, progressive music (hardcore, metal or otherwise) must have this one. comes in 180 gram vinyl, heavy gatefoldcover and with a huge poster!!! |

ROTTEN CADAVER |
Hi-Jacked Reality |
Debut LP by this Portland, Oregon hardcore band who
are clearly quite into early Finnish punk like Appendix and Mellakka. While
not quite as melodic as either of those bands, Rotten Cadaver certainly don't
lack anything in the speed and aggression departments, bashing out a noisy,
nasty racket that could sit right alongside those early Finnish classics as
it could against Disorder or Short, Sharp, Shock-era Chaos UK. Ripping stuff,
and absolutely killer, full-color artwork by Japanese artist Sugi to boot! |

Rough should be in Guinness for being on the first independent real punk record outta Italy. Torino early 80’s, four buddies shared their love for punk & oi! in Rough, a seminal band that lasted a very few years in two different waves & singers. This lp combines all their studio stuff and few rehearsal tx unreleased. If you need some heavy iron boots kicks in your mouth, this could be your chance.

RUBELLA BALLET |
Planet Punk |
First album of new material since 1986 from Rubella Ballet who were highly influential in both the anarcho-punk and the early gothic scenes. Rubella Ballet formed in 1979, with the nucleus of the band coming from a gig where Crass invited the audience to use their equipment and finish the gig. The band toured with Crass and the Poison Girls before touring with many other punk and goth bands. Rubella Ballet hail from the Anarcho punk scene but are equally at home playing the Goth scene as they were a part of its early conception. They were the band who bridged the gaps between The Sex Pistols, X Ray Spex, and Crass. |

RUIDOSA INMUNDICIA / SOLID DECLINE |
Split |
Solid Decline (Germany) and Ruidosa Inmundicia (Austria) combine together on this amazing split LP that is a limited German pressing on Thought Crime Records and comes in a double sided screen printed cover and clear vinyl. Solid Decline blend a modern hardcore sound with a harsh style and feel like that of Die Kreuzen or CCM. Each track punishes with little time to think or react with amazingly violent vocals that makes Solid Decline one of the best bands to come from Germany in recent memory. Ruidosa Inmundicia side equally blazes with anthemic hardcore reminicent of many great South/Central American hardcore bands with members from Chile who now live in Austria. Ruidosa Inmundicia screams with a fierce passion combined with amazing female vocals (in spanish), pounding drums, and a break-neck guitar sound that makes their sound fresh and original. Both bands add a lethal blend of fast energy-laced hardcore with pulse-racing catchiness that rips. Truly, one of the best split LP in years. |

Expect nothing else than the finest punk-rock'n'roll with slight streetpunk and hardcore influences here and there from these old cats, not much different than vocalist Jose's previous band PELIGRO SOCIAL but with a more rock'n'roll approach, offering some variety on the song structures to keep it from monotone and boring but sounding solid as a rock and catchy as fuck.
