Around 2000, the band decided to re-record some of their old songs, to expand them.
Even an old hit like "Western Front", which was comparatively rough in the beginning, got a new sound.
More synthesizers, more choirs - more melody and more depth. This album is almost tragic and theatrical.
Screaming Dead have always been dark, but the songs on this album present themselves in a much darker but also softer guise, which creeps perfidiously beautifully under the skin.
This album was released on CD in 2000 and is now available on vinyl for the first time.
There's a dirty undertone running through every song, which gives the overall work that extra punk touch.
Screaming Dead from Cheltenham have created a new, very own sound.
